Mitzi Wasden, DDS, MS

Getting kids to brush their teeth has been a struggle as old as dentistry. We have some proven tips and suggestions to help your kids develop good habits.

Dr. Mitzi Wasden received a bachelor of science degree in Microbiology from The Ohio State University, in Columbus, Ohio.  Dr. Mitzi also attended the dental program at Ohio State.  After receiving her dental degree in 1998, she specialized in pediatric dentistry, completing a two year residency program at Nationwide Children's Hospital, in Columbus, one of the nation's most recognized pediatric dental programs. While in her residency program she obtained her master's degree from Ohio State.  Her master's research looked at the bacteria that cause cavities in children.  This research resulted in her winning the McDonald Award, an award given to one pediatric resident in the United States each year in recognition of the significance of their research.  Dr. Mitzi worked as an associate for Dr. Allen Vean in Denver, Colorado for five years, before relocating with her family to Cottonwood, Arizona in 2005.  Dr. Mitzi has served the Verde Valley for over 10 years, placing an emphasis on providing quality dentistry in a welcoming and honest environment.

Dedicated to providing excellent service and quality care.
